Position Details:

• Two openings:
  • Role 1: Serving K-7th grades with a caseload of 17 students.
  • Role 2: Focused on 4th-7th grades, managing a caseload of 16 students.
• Full-time hours, providing ample time to engage, support, and inspire students.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field.
• Valid licensure/certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Dedication to fostering a supportive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
• Previous experience working with diverse learning needs, including mild to moderate disabilities, is highly valued.

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering high-quality instruction tailored to individual education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborating with general education teachers, counselors, aides, and families to support holistic student progress.
• Adapting curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles.
• Maintaining accurate documentation on student performance and goals.
• Participating actively in IEP meetings and contributing valuable insights for student development.
