What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related discipline (Master’s preferred)
• Valid California teaching credential with authorization in Special Education
• Previous experience helping students with either moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and fellow staff
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Your key responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Partner with general education staff to support inclusive classroom settings
• Regularly monitor student progress, modifying instruction as needed for growth
• Deliver direct, hands-on instruction to support each student’s academic and personal goals
• Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with all regulations and reporting requirements
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families and school staff
