What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Active California teaching credential with Special Education authorization
• Demonstrated experience teaching students with moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collegially with general education teachers, staff, and families
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation requirements
• Enthusiasm for maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct instruction and classroom support to students of varied abilities
• Coordinate with general education teachers on classroom inclusion and accommodations
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and cross-disciplinary team discussions
• Ensure all documentation is current and compliant with local and state regulations
