Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet every student’s specific learning goals
• Partner closely with general education teachers to foster inclusion
• Deliver meaningful, differentiated instruction and direct classroom support
• Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary for optimal learning outcomes
• Maintain active communication with students, families, and school staff regarding development and needs
• Attend IEP meetings and share insights as a core multidisciplinary team member
• Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
• Active California teaching credential with appropriate Special Education authorization
• Experience teaching students with either moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
