This full-time, onsite opportunity is located near Fontana, CA, and is perfect for an expert with experience in special education case management and OI certification. As a valued resource for local districts, you’ll focus on consultative support—no direct teaching or IEP writing—helping districts meet important compliance needs for their students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching credential with Orthopedic Impairment (OI) authorization
  • Experience as a Special Education Teacher, Case Manager, or related consulting role
  • In-depth understanding of compliance around OI requirements and IEP processes
  • Skilled at collaborating in a multidisciplinary team and providing expert recommendations
  • Ability to order, recommend, and track specialized equipment as needed
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable working onsite (no option for virtual or remote work)

Responsibilities:

  • Attend IEP meetings to provide consultation and expertise in Orthopedic Impairment
  • Conduct formal assessments to assist districts in fulfilling OI elements of student IEPs
  • Order, recommend, and coordinate equipment to support student access and success
  • Offer consultative guidance to district staff and families; serve as a subject matter expert on OI
  • Support compliance without providing direct student services or case management
  • No responsibilities include writing IEPs, direct service, or classroom teaching
