Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• A valid Minnesota Special Education License in EBD, ASD, or ABS (Out of Field Licensure Placement support available)
• Experience working with at-risk students in a high school environment
• Strong collaborative skills and commitment to team success
• Expertise in behavior support and intervention
• Ability to provide required documentation: active Minnesota teaching license and professional resume

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted instruction and individualized education plans for students with special needs in grades 9–12
• Partner with faculty, families, and external support staff to ensure holistic student success
• Implement proactive behavior management strategies and support at-risk learners
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
• Fulfill duties Monday through Friday, adhering to a 7:15am–3:15pm schedule with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
