Key Qualifications:

• Current SPED EC-12 certification (required)
• Content area certification strongly preferred
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally in a middle school setting
• Strong skills in differentiation and inclusion practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general and special education colleagues
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students with diverse learning needs in the general education classroom
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons and ensure accessibility for all learners
• Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Attend meetings, provide input on student progress, and maintain required documentation
• Consult with parents and professionals to optimize student outcomes
