Special Education Teacher Forney,TX

Soliant is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based position in Forney, Texas.

Position Details:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 10/19
- End Date: Through the end of the school year
- Onsite/in-person
- Elementary, Intermediate, Middle, or High School placements available
- Caseload varies by placement
- Self-contained/Life Skills/SLC: approximately 8–14 students
- Resource/Inclusion: approximately 20–30 students

Schedule:
- Elementary: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Intermediate: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Middle/High School: 8:20 AM – 3:50 PM
- Teachers are generally expected to arrive 30 minutes before students

Requirements:
- Active Texas Special Education Teacher certification
- EC–12 Special Education certification required
- EC–6 or 6–12 Generalist/Core certification preferred
- ARD experience required
- Comfortable participating in ARD/IEP meetings
- Previous school-based Special Education experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:
- $35–$40/hour
