Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification and current teaching license
• Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students in a special education context
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet individual student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans based on IEP goals
• Provide direct instruction and classroom support for students with varying abilities
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and ongoing professional development
