Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license with Special Education certification
• Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related compliance
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized educational programs tailored to students’ unique learning needs
• Provide direct instruction in both classroom and resource settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to modify curriculum and adapt learning environments
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for student needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and behavioral data
• Engage with parents and caregivers to discuss goals, progress, and strategies for support
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies and interventions to promote academic and social-emotional growth
