Preferred Background and Experience:

• Valid Colorado teaching credentials in Special Education
• Background working with K-12 students with varying needs
• Familiarity with IEPs—writing, implementing, and participating in meetings
• Ability to manage a self-contained classroom or provide resource support as needed
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with parents, staff, and administrators
• A positive, growth-oriented attitude and reliable work ethic

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to student learning goals
• Adapt curriculum materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state requirements
