Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teacher credentials (required)
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing IEPs
• Capacity to serve K–12 students in a range of classroom settings
• Well-versed in general duties of a Special Education Teacher
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated growth mindset, effective work ethic, and a positive attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and academic support to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities
• Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster inclusive, engaging learning environments for all students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, specialists, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to ensure student success in various educational settings
