Multiple positions are available across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school classrooms for the full academic year, including a comprehensive new teacher orientation starting August 3, 2026.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas State Teaching Certification required
- Must possess a Special Education EC–12 certification
- Additionally, hold at least one of the following: EC–6 Core Subjects, 4–8 Generalist, or a 9–12 subject-specific certification
- Flexibility to support students across varying grade levels according to district needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to providing inclusive, individualized instruction and support
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement lesson plans accommodating student IEPs and diverse learning needs
- Assess and monitor progress, adjusting instruction as necessary to maximize student success
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation, including progress reports and required compliance paperwork
- Participate in professional development and new teacher orientation
- Support a safe and positive classroom climate
An attractive hourly pay is offered between $39 and $42 (commensurate with degree, certifications, and previous experience).
