Qualifications:

• Active Texas State Teaching Certification required
• Must possess a Special Education EC–12 certification
• Additionally, hold at least one of the following: EC–6 Core Subjects, 4–8 Generalist, or a 9–12 subject-specific certification
• Flexibility to support students across varying grade levels according to district needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Dedication to providing inclusive, individualized instruction and support

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement lesson plans accommodating student IEPs and diverse learning needs
• Assess and monitor progress, adjusting instruction as necessary to maximize student success
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Maintain thorough documentation, including progress reports and required compliance paperwork
• Participate in professional development and new teacher orientation
• Support a safe and positive classroom climate

An attractive hourly pay is offered between $39 and $42 (commensurate with degree, certifications, and previous experience).
