You will manage a caseload of 28 or fewer students, providing tailored instruction and fostering an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment. While this position is primarily on-site, there may be potential for a virtual/VOCO arrangement, offering some flexibility based on your needs and qualifications.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential
- Experience working with students who have mild to moderate learning differences
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs
- Collaborative spirit to support fellow educators and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction based on students’ IEPs
- Monitor and document student progress
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and team planning
- Cultivate a supportive, positive, and safe learning environment
