Special Education Teacher | Fort Jones, California

You will manage a caseload of 28 or fewer students, providing tailored instruction and fostering an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment. While this position is primarily on-site, there may be potential for a virtual/VOCO arrangement, offering some flexibility based on your needs and qualifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Experience working with students who have mild to moderate learning differences
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs
• Collaborative spirit to support fellow educators and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction based on students’ IEPs
• Monitor and document student progress
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and team planning
• Cultivate a supportive, positive, and safe learning environment
