Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet unique student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instructional activities to support students with various special needs
- Assess student abilities and adapt lessons to align with IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraeducators, families, and support staff to create positive learning environments
- Maintain accurate records and documentation required for student progress and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress evaluation
