Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting, preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and tracking progress
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and staff
• Ability to create engaging, adaptive lesson plans that address diverse learning needs
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to best practices in special education

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 12 students with varying exceptionalities, providing tailored instruction and support as needed
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals
• Address students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral goals
• Work closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to ensure successful inclusion and support
• Utilize data and ongoing assessment to monitor and report student progress
• Maintain all necessary documentation and adhere to district and state requirements
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as required

This position offers consistent hours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, supporting work-life balance while making a measurable difference in students’ lives.
