Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience working with IEPs and adapting instruction to meet students’ unique needs
• Knowledge of best practices in classroom management and individualized learning
• Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt in a dynamic school setting
• Positive attitude with a commitment to fostering a growth mindset in students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students in either self-contained or resource classrooms
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance and measurable student progress
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to differentiate instruction and support a range of abilities
• Maintain consistent communication with parents, guardians, and instructional teams
• Track student progress, adjust interventions, and complete all necessary documentation
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and school initiatives
