Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Active Colorado Special Education Teacher credentials
  • Prior experience working with K-12 students in special education settings
  • Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
  • Flexibility to support self-contained and resource classrooms
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to changing student needs
  • Strong commitment to a growth mindset, creative problem-solving, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to students’ unique learning profiles
  • Create and maintain effective learning environments that foster inclusion and engagement
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators
