Special Education Teacher | Framingham, Massachusetts

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners by stepping into a pivotal Special Education teaching role for a contract position. You'll work onsite with 2nd and 3rd grade students who have developmental delays or intellectual impairments, providing individualized and small-group instruction that supports their unique learning needs. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 25, 2026, allowing you to build strong connections and guide students’ progress throughout the school year. The workday runs from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, offering a consistent, full-time schedule in a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification in Massachusetts for Moderate or Severe Disabilities (active license required)
• Prior experience working in a school setting
• Commitment to onsite instruction at the designated school
• Successful completion of CORI background check and fingerprinting (or eligible letter of suitability from previous employer)
• Comfort with Zoom-based interviews as part of the hiring process

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to 2nd and 3rd grade students with developmental delays and/or intellectual impairments
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to each student’s IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with fellow educators, aides, and families to foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate and timely educational records and progress documentation
• Monitor student growth, adapt interventions, and participate in IEP meetings
