Bring your passion for supporting young learners to an engaging full-time contract position as a Special Education Teacher working with 2nd and 3rd graders who have developmental delays or intellectual impairments. This rewarding opportunity offers a consistent schedule from 8:00AM to 2:30PM, starting as soon as possible and running through June 25, 2026. As part of a dedicated onsite team, you’ll provide instruction and guidance at the elementary level and make a meaningful impact every single day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Massachusetts licensure/certification for Moderate or Severe Disabilities (required)
  • Prior experience in a school-based special education setting
  • Strong understanding of the unique academic and behavioral needs of students with developmental delays or intellectual impairments
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to promote student progress
  • Successful completion of CORI background check and fingerprinting (a previous letter of suitability may be utilized if available)
  • Prepared to interview via Zoom

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction to 2nd and 3rd grade students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Develop lesson plans and adapt curriculum to support student learning and growth
  • Work collaboratively with classroom staff and ancillary service providers
  • Engage in regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor student goals
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
