Special Education Teacher - Framingham, MA

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification in Special Education or eligibility for certification
• Experience co-teaching or collaborating in inclusive classroom environments preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to implement accommodations and modifications
• Strong communication skills for effective partnership with colleagues and families
• Dedication to fostering a positive, respectful, and encouraging classroom culture

Responsibilities:

• Co-teach with a fellow educator to address the varied needs of 7th-grade students in an inclusion setting
• Provide instructional support and interventions to promote student success
• Adapt curriculum materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general and special education team members to develop and manage IEPs
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Engage families in the educational process to support student achievement
