Step into a highly valued Middle School Learning Specialist role supporting students’ educational journeys in a contract position near Framingham, MA. This opportunity allows you to work with a manageable caseload of 15-20 students, ensuring quality individualized instruction and attention. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues until further notice, with consistent hours from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering specialized instruction tailored to diverse middle school learners, fostering academic growth and self-confidence
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Adapting curriculum and materials to suit varied learning styles, needs, and abilities
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress, goals, and accommodations
  • Serving as an advocate and resource for students, providing direct support in both inclusive and resource settings
  • Communicating effectively with parents, staff, and administration to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • MA Special Education Certification is required
  • Experience teaching or supporting middle school-aged students is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, compliance, and best practices
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and team collaboration skills
  • A passion for empowering students with diverse learning needs
