What You'll Bring:

• Current teaching license with a Mild Intervention endorsement
• Prior experience supporting students experiencing behavioral challenges (preferred)
• Demonstrated strength in classroom management and organizational skills

• Dependable attendance and a proactive approach to teamwork

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Implement positive behavior strategies and proactively address behavioral concerns
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date IEPs, along with behavior documentation
• Foster student engagement, aiming to reduce classroom and work avoidance
• Coordinate closely with parents, school staff, and collaborate on student progress
• Provide direction and mentorship for dedicated Instructional Assistants within the classroom
• Help students build self-regulation and academic skills through engaging, relationship-based approaches

This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity, running from Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week, 7:35 AM–3:35 PM), where you will have the support of at least one Instructional Assistant. The position is located in a junior high school serving seventh graders, offering a purposeful and structured environment.
