A dedicated Special Education Teacher is needed for a full-time contract role in a resource classroom, with opportunities to collaborate closely with a team of passionate educators.
This position spans the academic year from August 31, 2026 to June 17, 2026, with potential additional planning days before or after. Hours are approximately 35–37.5 per week, providing consistency and stability for both teacher and students. The caseload is thoughtfully managed, with each of three case managers supporting 15–20 students in grades 1st–4th (Kindergarten responsibilities are already covered). You’ll enjoy the support of experienced one-on-one paras in the classrooms and work collaboratively with behavior analysts to deliver individualized interventions and instruction.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Hampshire Educator Teaching Certification
- Prior experience in special education, specifically with children in 1st–4th grade
- Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning styles and needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with paras, specialists, and families
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
