Special Education Teacher - Franklinton, North Carolina

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with elementary-age children in a resource or special education setting
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt lessons for a variety of learning needs
• A collaborative mindset and positive attitude when working alongside staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver resource support and personalized instruction to a caseload of 32 elementary students
• Develop and implement IEPs in line with state and federal guidelines
• Monitor and document student progress, updating plans as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support personnel, and families to foster a positive learning environment
• Create inclusive classroom activities that encourage growth and participation
