K-5 Certified Special Education Teacher - Frederick, Colorado

A fulfilling contract opportunity is available for a licensed Special Education Teacher dedicated to K-8 students. In this role, your expertise in supporting diverse learners will be put to use as you provide essential pull-out services in reading and math. You'll be working with students across both elementary and middle school grades, ensuring every child receives the support and intervention they need to thrive.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current state certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Licensed to teach elementary (K-5) and/or middle school (6-8) students
• Experience delivering instruction and interventions in reading and math
• Familiarity with individualized educational plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to manage and schedule students across multiple grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Provide pull-out interventions for K-8 students requiring additional support, focusing on reading and math skills
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify students’ needs and modify instruction accordingly
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with families regarding student growth
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters student confidence and growth
