Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Valid state certification/licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students (grades K-8)
• Background in delivering specialized instruction for reading and mathematics
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide small group and one-on-one pull-out instruction focusing on reading and math intervention for students across K-8
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) in consultation with colleagues and families
• Adapt and modify curriculum materials to address a range of learning needs and styles
• Collect data, monitor student progress, and adjust instruction as needed to ensure growth and success
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational requirements and best practices
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion and student success
