High School Special Education Teachers Needed in Maryland

We are seeking two Special Education Co-Teachers to support high school students in a collaborative, inclusion-based setting in Maryland. These positions involve close partnership with general education teachers and a strong focus on supporting students’ IEP goals within core academic classes.

Position Details:

• Location: Maryland

• Role: Special Education Co-Teaching

• Grade Level: High School

• Schedule: 7:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

• End Date: June 10

• Number of Openings: 2

Caseload & Assignments:

Position 1 – English Co-Teaching

• Start Date: ASAP

• Co-teach high school English courses

• Collaborate with general education teachers to support instruction

• Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals within the English setting

Position 2 – Math Co-Teaching

• Start Date: Mid-February

• End of School Year

• Co-teach high school Math courses

• Collaborate with general education teachers to support instruction

• Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals within the Math setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support and differentiated instruction

• Support students with accommodations and modifications per IEPs

• Track student progress and maintain compliance documentation

• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and support staff

Licensure Requirements:

• Active Maryland Special Education License (6–Adult) required
