This full-time, onsite contract opportunity begins August 17th and continues through June 4th. Three positions are currently available, with roles at Oakdale Middle School, Centerville Elementary, and an additional site to be determined. Each placement offers unique caseloads and program focuses—from serving students in a self-contained elementary classroom to leading the Learning for Life Program at the middle school level.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher, appropriate for the age group served
• Experience with self-contained classrooms and/or behavior caseloads preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Talent for adapting instructional approaches to meet student needs
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to students with diverse needs in a supportive, structured environment
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with related service providers and staff to ensure comprehensive support for each learner
• Foster positive, inclusive classroom communities

Positions include:

• Leading the Learning for Life Program (middle school, 7:30-3:30, caseload of 15)
• Self-contained elementary setting (9:00-3:30, caseload of 10)
• Managing a behavior-focused elementary classroom
