Desired Skills & Experience:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification (state appropriate)
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and organization skills

• Flexibility and adaptability to serve either elementary or middle school students based on assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute effective lesson plans tailored to students' individual needs
• Provide specialized instruction in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings
• Maintain accurate documentation for IEPs and monitor student progress
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
