Key Qualifications:

• Active California Mild/Moderate Special Education Teaching Credential (required)
• Experience or strong interest in supporting students with diverse learning needs in a school environment
• Ability to tailor instruction and interventions for individual education plans (IEPs)
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Enthusiastic, flexible, and adaptable approach to daily challenges

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support for a caseload of students in either K-2 or K-5th, covering a range of special education needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring students receive appropriate accommodations and services
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom environment
• Engage in ongoing communication and partnership with parents, general education staff, and related service providers
• Collect data and maintain thorough documentation to measure student progress and inform instructional decisions
