Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching credential (California or eligibility for reciprocity)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs for assigned students
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet each student’s unique learning needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a cohesive educational approach
  • Evaluate student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Foster a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment for all students
  • Provide direct instruction, interventions, and support in accordance with IEP goals
