Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support a caseload of approximately 15-20 K-3 students with mild disabilities
  • Create and modify individualized education plans (IEPs) that address student needs and goals
  • Design engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to various learning abilities
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues and related service providers to ensure coordinated care and instruction
