Step into a collaborative environment where you’ll deliver push-in services for a cohort of twelve 6th to 8th grade students. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with general education teachers and support staff to design and implement effective learning interventions tailored to individual IEPs.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a middle school setting
- Competency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide push-in instructional support within general education classrooms for students in grades 6–8
- Develop, monitor, and update IEP goals in cooperation with educators and families
- Adapt curriculum content and assessments to meet student-specific needs
- Utilize data-driven interventions to track student progress and adjust support strategies
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure consistency and success
- Participate in professional development and maintain documentation as required by the district
