These roles are crucial in fostering student growth and development, both academically and personally.

Position Options Available:

• Math Resource Teacher: Requires Special Education Certification and Math Certification.
• Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher: Requires Special Education Certification and Core Content Certification.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Special Education Certification (SPED Cert) for the state of Texas.
• Possess the required subject area certification for the specific assignment (Math Cert and/or Core Content Cert).
• Demonstrate recent, relevant experience in a similar position—highlight academic resource, math, or life skills experience on your resume.
• Comfortable with an onsite role and committed to engaging with the school community through May 21, 2027.
• Ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction according to IEPs, adapting lessons for diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student progress.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and district policies.
• Develop supportive, inclusive environments that encourage participation and confidence in students.
