Special Education Teacher | Frisco, Texas

Make a difference every day by supporting students’ growth and success as a Special Education Teacher within a dynamic school environment. Two full-time contract positions are currently available, each offering an exciting opportunity to apply your passion and expertise in special education.

Openings include:

• Math Resource Teacher: This role requires a Special Education Certification along with Math Certification. You’ll provide targeted math instruction and support at the high school level, tailoring learning plans to meet diverse student needs.
• Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher: For this position, Special Education Certification paired with Core Content (EC-6) Certification is needed. You will guide students through academic and essential life skills, helping them achieve greater independence and success.

Both roles are based on-site at a vibrant high school and run through the end of the academic year, with the potential to positively impact the student community.

What we’re seeking:

• Current, valid Texas Special Education Certification (and Math or Core Content, EC-6, as applicable)
• Robust experience teaching in special education settings, with a strong record of adapting curriculum and fostering student progress
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Experience working in high school environments is highly preferred (for both roles)
• Commitment to full-time, on-site attendance for the duration of the contract

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans
• Delivering differentiated instruction in line with IEP goals
• Collaborating effectively with support staff, families, and administration
• Maintaining accurate progress records and documentation
• Creating an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere
