What we’re looking for:

• Valid Missouri Special Education Teacher certification
• Demonstrated experience working in self-contained or resource settings
• Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to maintaining a positive classroom environment and fostering each student’s growth

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering specialized instruction to K-12 students adapted to their IEPs
• Monitoring progress and assessing student development
• Collaborating with other Special Education staff, classroom teachers, and support personnel
• Completing required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Engaging families in the educational process and providing regular updates
• Creating supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environments
• Participating in staff meetings, professional development, and required training
