- Resource position (grades K-3, approximately 30 students)
- Self-contained classroom (approximately 15 students)
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (state eligibility required)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
- Strong communication skills and dedication to fostering inclusive learning environments
- Ability to adapt instruction to diverse student needs
- Commitment to collaboration with IEP teams and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on student IEPs
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Foster a supportive, structured classroom environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and specialists
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to instructional planning
