This full-time, school-year contract position focuses on providing resource support, using both push-in and pull-out models, to help students thrive academically. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver small-group and individualized instruction in reading, math, and other core subjects aligned to IEP goals
• Provide support within both resource classrooms and general education settings through co-teaching and consultation
• Monitor students’ academic progress and maintain precise, compliant documentation
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and the special education team to plan effective interventions and strategies
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, developing and implementing appropriate accommodations and modifications
• Foster positive relationships and provide consistent academic and behavioral support to middle school students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching certificate or eligibility for certification
• Demonstrated experience in a resource or inclusion setting, particularly with middle school students
• Strong instructional and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to individualized learning, student engagement, and supporting diverse academic and behavioral needs
