Desired Qualifications:

  • Active or pending South Carolina Special Education certification
  • Background in resource or inclusion classroom settings preferred
  • Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
  • Strong instructional skills for supporting academic and behavioral growth
  • Passion for working with high school students and adapting to their diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with IEP goals in reading, math, and additional core areas
  • Provide resource support through both push-in (co-teaching) and pull-out models
  • Track and document student progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Partner closely with general education teachers and related service providers
  • Attend and contribute actively to IEP meetings and team discussions
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring timely completion of all due-process documentation
