Special Education Teacher Adaptive Curriculum (K-3) | Full-Time | Gainesville, GA

We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher – Adaptive Curriculum for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite opportunity supports elementary students in a self-contained autism classroom while working with a collaborative school team to provide individualized instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide adaptive curriculum instruction to K-3 students in a self-contained autism classroom.

• Develop and implement IEPs that support student growth.

• Collaborate with families, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress.

• Work alongside two classroom paraprofessionals to support student success.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Special Education License.

• Adaptive Curriculum Endorsement.

• Early Childhood Endorsement.

• Experience working with students with autism preferred.

• Comfortable working in a self-contained classroom setting.

Assignment Details

• Location: Gainesville, GA

• Dates: July 22, 2026 – May 21, 2027

• Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week

• Setting: Onsite

• Caseload: Approximately 10 students in a self-contained autism classroom (K-3)

• Support: Two classroom paraprofessionals
