Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts teaching license in Moderate or Severe Disabilities
  • Experience in ABA or therapeutic classroom environments preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to support students with significant emotional and behavioral needs
  • Strong communication skills for working closely with families, school staff, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized academic instruction tailored to support each student’s strengths and challenges
  • Write, implement, and monitor IEPs, handle case management, and conduct ongoing assessments
  • Oversee registered behavior technicians (RBTs) and paraprofessionals within the classroom
  • Collaborate with the BCBA, related service providers, and families to align academic and behavioral programming
  • Foster a safe, engaging environment that supports both academic progress and social-emotional development
