You’ll be assigned to one campus and collaborate closely with engaged support staff, paraprofessionals, and specialized educators—fostering an environment where every child can thrive.

Multiple caseload options are available, allowing you to tailor your experience to your strengths and preferences. Choose from self-contained TLC (Total Language Classrooms) focusing on small group learning and skill-building, behavior classrooms guiding positive behavioral supports, or a medically fragile unit partnered with dedicated nurses and paraprofessionals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid Texas Special Education (EC-12) teaching certificate
  • Commitment to completing TEA fingerprinting requirements if not completed recently
  • Experience supporting students with diverse needs, such as autism, behavioral challenges, life skills, or medically fragile students, highly valued
  • Compassion and adaptability in dynamic classroom settings

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement specialized instruction to support IEP goals
  • Foster an inclusive environment through differentiated teaching strategies and positive reinforcement
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
  • Advocate for and support students as they participate in integrated school activities such as art, PE, and lunch with peers
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary teams

This position offers the satisfaction of making measurable impact within one campus community, stability in a structured contract, and the ability to focus your expertise where it’s needed most.

If you’re ready to empower students and support their unique journeys, we encourage you to apply today and indicate your preferred caseload or campus. Shape your next school year with purpose and connection!
