Special Education Teacher in Gastonia, NC

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Demonstrated experience supporting K-2 students with exceptional needs

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially when partnering with teaching assistants and general education staff
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, engaging, and positive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction within general education settings
• Work alongside an EC Teacher’s Assistant to support daily classroom activities and student needs
