What we’re looking for:

• Valid North Carolina credentials as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with K-12 caseloads in either self-contained or resource classroom settings
• Strong understanding of developing, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to perform all essential duties expected of a Special Education Teacher, including differentiated instruction and student progress monitoring
• Demonstrated work ethic, a growth-oriented mindset, and a consistently positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with faculty, staff, and families

Your daily contributions will include:

• Designing and delivering individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ unique learning needs
• Managing classroom environments that promote safety, inclusivity, and engagement
• Organizing and leading IEP meetings, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Motivating and supporting students to reach their full academic and personal potential
• Partnering with general education teachers to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications
