Special Education Teacher - Georgetown, TX

This contract opportunity offers experienced Special Education Teachers three engaging classroom settings: Behavioral, Special Education, and General Education (Math). The role begins July 21, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027, providing consistency for both you and your students.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Special Education teaching certification
• For General Education (Math) role: credentials in both Special Education and Math
• Experience working with behavioral needs or structured behavioral programs (for behavioral setting)
• Proven background adapting curriculum and instruction for students with diverse needs
• Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, aides, and related service staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in assigned classroom setting
• Modify instructional techniques to meet a variety of student learning needs
• Support students in achieving educational goals both academically and socially
• Create a safe, structured classroom culture that promotes positive behavior
• Work closely with families and multidisciplinary team members to best support student growth
• Track progress, collect data, and document student achievements and challenges
• Participate in professional development activities and IEP meetings
