Special Education Teacher in Georgetown, TX

Your role will make a difference guiding students with diverse needs, collaborating with staff and families, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) that promote academic and personal achievement. With two immediate openings, there’s a unique opportunity to impact students at different age levels.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education (SPED) teaching license is required
• Prior experience in a Special Education teaching role
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Passion for inclusion, student advocacy, and ongoing professional development
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement differentiated instructional strategies tailored to individual student needs
• Develop and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Foster positive and nurturing classroom environments that support learning and growth
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and staff to support student progress and well-being
• Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and program effectiveness
• Participate in school meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions
