An opportunity is available for a dedicated special education teacher to support students with Autism at the middle school level. This full-time contract position is located in Glendale, AZ, for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. The role demands a strong foundational background in special education and a passion for working with middle school students on the autism spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with Autism.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and inclusion.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and social development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience working with students diagnosed with Autism.
- Background in educating middle school-aged children.
- Valid teaching license in special education preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage classroom dynamics and documentation.
