Current Opportunities:

• K-2 Special Education Teacher (self-contained classroom)
• Pre-school Special Education Teacher
• 7-8th Grade Resource Teacher

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (alternative licenses are not accepted)
• Experience working within K-8, early childhood, or resource settings preferred, but all backgrounds encouraged to apply
• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and goals
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies for academic and developmental achievement
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support personnel
• Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records and clear communication with families
• Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating atmosphere that respects all abilities
