Make a positive impact as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher with this exciting contract opportunity supporting young learners in an engaging and collaborative school setting near Glendale, AZ. This role is tailored for dedicated educators passionate about serving pre-K students with diverse needs in a dynamic, cross-categorical environment.

In this position, you’ll work with two instructional assistants each session to deliver high-quality special education services to morning and afternoon classes, with about 10–12 students per group (serving approximately 24 students on your caseload). Your expertise will help shape individualized instruction and meaningful progress for each student.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher with eligibility to teach Early Childhood/Pre-K special education.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and managing special education caseloads.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with families, instructional assistants, and related service providers.
• Ability to adapt instruction and environments to meet the unique needs of each child.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and provide specialized instruction for cross-categorical Pre-K students.
• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs, maintaining compliance and documentation.
• Collaborate with two instructional assistants in each classroom session to provide effective, individualized support.
• Engage in case management and communicate regularly with families regarding student progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.
