Special Education Teacher | Glendale, Arizona

Make a meaningful impact by supporting young learners as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in a supportive, contract-based role near Glendale, AZ. This opportunity focuses on providing high-quality education for pre-kindergarten students with diverse abilities, working within a collaborative environment dedicated to student growth and inclusion.

You will work with approximately 24 students, split between morning and afternoon sessions, and be supported by two instructional assistants during each session. Your expertise will help children thrive as you deliver instruction, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and manage caseload responsibilities. While students attend school four days per week, staff collaborate, prepare, and engage in professional activities during the fifth day.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification in Special Education (Early Childhood or Cross-Categorical, preferred)
• Experience working with pre-kindergarten or early childhood populations
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and case management
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:
