Mathematics Special Education Teacher | Glendale, Arizona

This full-time, onsite contract position runs from August 3rd through May 21st, 2027. You’ll play an integral role in facilitating the learning journey of students by collaborating closely with fellow educators and supporting diverse learners in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Standard Secondary Teaching License
• Valid Special Education Licensure for Arizona
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Demonstrated experience delivering math instruction within special education classrooms
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet multiple learning styles
• Familiarity with co-teaching models and strategies for inclusion

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-teach designated math courses alongside fellow instructors to ensure all students receive quality instruction
• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement
• Monitor and document student progress, collaborating with other staff and families as needed
• Uphold compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding special education
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives and participate in relevant professional development
