Special Education Teacher | Glendale, Arizona

Serve a diverse caseload of 25-30 students across two conveniently located schools—only a short distance from one another. Work a consistent, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with daily hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Valid state Special Education teaching certification
• Experience managing and adapting instruction for a caseload of 25-30 students
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and ability to differentiate instruction
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the flexibility to serve multiple school sites
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs, in alignment with IEP goals and state standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Assess and document student growth and adapt strategies as needed
• Travel between two schools (less than a mile apart) as scheduled
• Maintain clear and timely communication regarding student progress and needs
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development throughout the contract period
