Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Educator Certification and current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with Autism in an educational setting.
• In-depth understanding of the use of visual supports in the classroom.
• Proven ability to develop compliant IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
• Effective skills in behavior management and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to inclusion and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to Kindergarten students in a self-contained setting.
• Develop and maintain measurable and compliant IEPs for all students in the caseload.
• Utilize visual supports and evidence-based strategies to enhance learning.
• Implement positive behavior interventions and supports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and related service providers to maximize student success.
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation as required by district and state regulations.
