In this role, you’ll work with PreK-8th grade students, supporting their academic and language development during the full school year, with a commitment of 14 hours per week. This is a unique chance to impact young learners and enjoy the freedom of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • State-approved teaching certification (Special Education or General Education preferred)
  • EL endorsement and/or experience teaching English Learners
  • Prior experience in Special Education or General Education classroom settings
  • Comfortable working with students across PreK-8 grade levels
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and collaborate with school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver instruction to English Learners
  • Develop and adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster inclusive classrooms
  • Track and document student progress
  • Engage positively with students, families, and colleagues
