We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers (SPED) to support students for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a structured, supportive, and collaborative school environment.
Position Overview
School Year: 2026–2027
Hours: Full-Time
Setting: Self-contained and/or Autism classrooms
Pay Rate: $40–$48 per hour
Responsibilities
* Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
* Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
* Create structured and supportive classroom environments
* Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
* Implement behavior management strategies and support plans
* Track student progress and adjust instruction as needed
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
Requirements
* Active Special Education certification required
* Experience in self-contained or autism classroom settings preferred
* Strong classroom management and behavior support skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Must be comfortable working onsite
