Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in the Gonzales, Texas area for the current school year. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and collaborate with school staff to support student academic, behavioral, and functional growth.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs
Provide direct specialized instruction in academic and functional skills
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and team collaboration

Qualifications:

Active Texas Special Education Certification required
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Special Education or related field
Strong communication and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred
