Exciting opportunity for an experienced Special Education Teacher to make a meaningful impact in a K-5 setting! This full-time contract position offers the chance to work with a dedicated resource caseload, supporting students in their educational journey while fostering growth and achievement.

As an integral part of a collaborative school environment, you’ll use your expertise to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver high-quality instruction tailored to each student’s unique needs. Your experience with EdPlan will be instrumental in managing student documentation and progress, ensuring compliance and effective communication with staff and families.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification in Special Education (valid for K-5th grade)
  • Prior experience working with K-5 students in a resource or similar SPED setting
  • Proficiency in using EdPlan for managing IEPs and student progress
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with general education teachers, staff, and families
  • A passion for empowering students with diverse learning needs

Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and delivering individualized instruction to meet resource students’ needs
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate records and thorough documentation via EdPlan
  • Communicating consistently with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress
  • Supporting an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth
